In the Leave Settings section, you can precisely define the criteria for different types of leaves, tailoring them to meet the organization’s specific needs. This feature allows differentiation between leave categories, setting the permissible number of days for each type. Additionally, it enables the designation of leave status as paid or unpaid, aligning with the organization’s policies.
Commonly categorized leaves include Sick, Casual, and Earned, with criteria easily adjustable to suit dynamic requirements. This section offers the flexibility to edit and modify these criteria whenever necessary, ensuring adaptability to changing organizational needs.
Access these features conveniently through Login > Settings > Leave Setting.

b.) Count leaves from the start of the year
In the Leave Types section, advanced configurations have been introduced to tailor leave policies based on specific criteria:
- Applicability Criteria:
- Define who the leave is applicable to, offering options such as Department and Designation. Create customized policies for various job levels or roles to meet specific position requirements.
- Leave Eligibility Criteria:
- Set leave eligibility based on notice or probation periods, allowing the establishment of rules for when employees become eligible for specific leave types. For instance, stipulate a minimum length of service or probationary period before vacation leave eligibility.
- Configurable Rules:
- Here, set leave eligibility based on job roles, seniority, or other objective criteria relevant to organizational needs. Factors such as department, location, job level, or length of service can be considered.
These enhancements provide a more nuanced and tailored approach to leave management, allowing organizations to align leave policies with the diverse needs and requirements of different positions within the company.
